2017 Platform

The final of the 2017 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in the Memorial Chapel at Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 11 February. The three adjudicators were Gina McCormack, Malcolm Green and David Saint. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 17 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: 1st Prize Liam Leonard (piano); 2nd Prize Aleksandra Penlington (piano)
Senior section: 1st Prize Jude Wynter (piano); 2nd Prize Jia Jie Huang (piano)

Applications

The 2025 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Friday, 21st February 2025 and Saturday, 22nd February 2025) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 31st May 2025. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
