2020 Platform

The final of the 2020 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School on Sunday, 25th October. The adjudicators were Alastair Moseley (Chairman of Adjudicators - Auditions), Professor David Saint (Chairman of Adjudicators - Finalists' Concert), Richard Jenkinson and Sarah Oliver. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 17 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: 1st Prize Sophie Costa (harp); 2nd Prize Aidan Cham (cello)
Senior section: Joint 1st Prize Jessica Ellis (oboe) and Isabella Hulbert (voice)

Applications

The 2025 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Friday, 21st February 2025 and Saturday, 22nd February 2025) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 31st May 2025. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
