Bromsgrove Young  Musicians Platform

2022 Platform

The final of the 2022 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 26th February 2022. The adjudicators were Alastair Moseley (Chairman of Adjudicators - Finalists' Concert), Professor David Saint (Chairman of Adjudicators - Auditions), Dr Richard Jenkinson and Sarah Oliver. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 17 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: 1st Prize - Junde (Tom) He (piano); 2nd Prize - Alice Chadwick-Jones (violin)
Senior section: 1st Prize - Jaren Ziegler (viola); 2nd Prize - Rebecca Bazlov (piano)

The 2024 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Friday, 23rd February 2024 and Saturday, 24th February 2024) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 1st June 2024. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
