2023 Platform

The final of the 2023 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 3rd June 2023. The adjudicators were Alastair Moseley (Chairman of Adjudicators), Dr Richard Jenkinson and Sarah Oliver. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 17 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: 1st Prize - Isaac Bazlov (piano); 2nd Prize - Nathaniel Ming-shun Law (oboe)
Senior section: 1st Prize -Hugo Svedberg (cello); 2nd Prize - Casey-Joan Whyte (violin)

Applications

The 2024 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Thursday, 22nd and Friday, 23rd February 2023) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday,24th February 2024. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
