2026 Platform

 

The final of the 2026 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 30th May 2026. The adjudicators were Alastair Moseley (Chairman of Adjudicators - Audition Round), Professor David Saint (Chairman of Adjudicators - Finalists' Concert), Dr Richard Jenkinson and Sarah Oliver. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 18 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: 1st Prize - Joshua Cotterill (piano); 2nd Prize - Jinhyang Peng (piano)
Senior section: 1st Prize - Joseph Sainsbury (recorder); Max Walsh (piano)

Applications

The 2027 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Thursday, 18th February 2027 and Friday, 19th February 2027) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 5th June 2027.
