MONICA TOSO (DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF BIMC and CHAIRMAN OF THE PLATFORM)  
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Monica has lived in the UK for over twenty years with her husband and three talented musical sons, supporting them at the Junior Birmingham Conservatoire. Monica is an independent teacher of Italian up to A level. She is passionate about ensuring that young people receive every possible opportunity to develop their musical and linguistic talents.   
   
   
   
   
   
ALASTAIR MOSELEY FICE FCIWEM  (DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF BIMC)  
Alastair is honorary vice president of the Chartered Institution of Water and  Environmental Management. He lives in Bromsgrove, and, with other members of his musical family, helped form the community-based Orchestra of St John.    

 
   
   
   

Applications

The 2025 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Friday, 21st February 2025 and Saturday, 22nd February 2025) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 31st May 2025. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
