2021 Platform

The final of the 2021 Bromsgrove Young Musicians' Platform was held in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 5th June 2021. The adjudicators were Alastair Moseley (Chairman of Adjudicators - Auditions), Professor David Saint (Chairman of Adjudicators - Finalists' Concert), Dr Richard Jenkinson and Sarah Oliver. The competitors were divided into two sections: 9 to 13 years old, and 14 to 17 years old.

The prize winners were as follows:
Junior section: Joint 1st Prize - Hugo Svedberg (cello) and Sofia Demetriades (violin)
Senior section: 1st Prize - Sebastian Carrington (voice); 2nd Prize - Emma Demetriades (violin)

Applications

The 2025 Platform auditions take place during February half-term (Friday, 21st February 2025 and Saturday, 22nd February 2025) in Routh Concert Hall at Bromsgrove School. The Final takes place on the afternoon of Saturday, 31st May 2025. Please read on to find out how you can compete or join us in the audience to support our young musicians.
